The Hard - At the entrance to the Historic Dockyard, immediately adjoining Portsmouth Harbour railway station and transport interchange. Open daily April - September 09:30 - 17:45, October -March 09:30 -17:15.

Southsea seafront - Next to the Blue Reef Aquarium - Open daily July - August 09:30 - 17.45, daily from September - June 09:30 - 17.15.

Portsmouth's Visitor Information Service (VIS) is committed to getting it right; providing you with the best possible service at all times. If you think we could improve our service to you, we always welcome your comments and suggestions.

Portsmouth Visitor Information Service offer the following pledges to our customers:

Ensure that up to date information is available on accommodation, attractions and amenities

Deal with you promptly, efficiently and politely

Provide a comprehensive 24 hour telephone answering service

Answer your e-mail enquiries within 24 hours

Despatch information requested by post within 3 days of your initial enquiry

Provide a comprehensive accommodation reservation service

Keep customers informed of what we are doing, including new services and improvements

Portsmouth VIS Complaint Procedure

If you wish to make a complaint we aim to:

Listen and take it seriously

Investigate fully and respond promptly

Keep you informed should your complaint take more than 7 days to resolve

Resolve the matter to your complete satisfaction.
